NEW SAN MAMES
FOUNDATION STONE CEREMONY
The foundation stone ceremony of the New San Mamés (Barria) will be held
on Wednesday, 6 May, at 12:00 hours. This will take place in a tent
installed on the grounds that will lodge the new stadium and will
consist of a human chain formed between the current San Mamés and the
new site.
The media will be given access to the precinct at 11:30 hours where they will have audio and video connections in order to record the event. Also, a space will be reserved for interviews following the ceremony.
As we can see in that video, this is a summary of the ceremony and we can see speaking by the welcome address which was at that time the president of the Athletic (Fernando García Macua).
